Attention Child Care Providers
Funding is now available to reimburse you for
CPR/First Aid Classes
The 4C Council is reimbursing child care providers who successfully
complete Health & Safety Training Classes. The reimbursement amount is up to $65 per person per year. Each person shall have at least a
$5.00 co-pay for each training segment.
Individuals eligible for repayment include staff of a licensed family child care home or center, and license exempt providers, as well as in home providers.
- Trainings must be completed between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013. This requirement includes both initial training and renewal courses.
- The CPR/First Aid and /or Health Preventative Training Program must be EMSA approved and verified with the EMSA sticker issued. The American Red Cross and American Heart Association are exempt from providing an EMSA sticker.
- Funds are limited. Therefore, funds are available on a first-come first-serve basis, and centers are limited to five (5) reimbursements per fiscal year.
